There are many hotels for you to stay and there are beaches all over the Island. You can go to see the natural pools and natural bridges, the butterfly farm, etc. There are a lot of nice malls for you to go shopping and there are restaurants for you to eat. But if you go to Aruba you will definatly have fun and want to go again, like me.

On Wednesday 26th of May the municipality organized a tennis tournament. Almost all the city went to see it but what nobody saw was that the winner of the tournament (Felipe Campusano) commited a fault.

It was in the last five minutes of the game Felipe Campusano and Benjamin Caceres were tied and in the last minute Felipe Campusano hit the ball and won. But nobody saw that the ball had already bounce two times when he hit it.

Everybody went to congratulate Felipe Campusano and I was speechless. The referee did not do anything.

These types of things are unacceptable for the players and the ones that went to see the match.

Leisure Center

Last week a new leisure centre opened in the park everybody was full of excitement and wanted to see it so it was full all the week. Yesterday I went to see it and I could see that there were cotton candy and popcorn shops, places to sit down and lots of trees. But there were no trash baskets or toilets. I talked to my neighbours and they said the same. This is not acceptable we cant have a leisure centre with trash everywhere and people going to the toilet on trees. So I think we have to go to talk to the manager and make something good out of this new leisure center.

The Surprise Party

It was last summer and my best friend it was going to be my best friends birthday and I was thinking on planing him a surprise party.

I wanted to made it because he was felling sad lately because their parents die in a car accident.So I put together all of his friend and family and plan a surprise party.

Me and the others ones that were organising the party spent two days buying the food and the drinks and others stuff for the part. We made a list with the guest in it and called them. Almost everyone come and the party was great . The only bad thing was that all the ones in the party end up in jail but we get out on the other day and my friend said that it was the best party ever.

The Fault On The Tennis Match

How can we prevent injuries in schools?

Prevent inuries in schools and inform about this.

How can we prevent injuries in schools? There are infinite ways of preventing injuries at schools (Elementary and High Schools).

There are many ways of geting injured at school like falling down the stairs, from a balcony, get injured playing a school sport, so we have to change that risky school and make it a safe place for children and teenagers.

First the schools has to inform people about how to prevent injuries lie doing an assembly or putting posters around the school for students, teachers and other people from the school see.

Then the school has to promote ideas and also students can give ideas fo the prevention of injuries. Some ways of prenvent injuries at schools:

- Put safe walks through school so students, teachers and other people from school dont fall or have an injuries.

- Make sure the sports that the school offer are completly safe and free of any danger for students that practice abd teachers that teach it

- Paint the stairs so students, teachers and poeple that work or are from the school fall and cause a serious injury.

- You can create a web page for giving a presenting ideas and other stuff about the prevention of injuries or/ and lessons.

At 12:55 on Saturday a 9 year old child, identified as Benjamin Apablaza, died in the Hospital Roberto del Rio after being pushed in a confusing incident and he got dug a pencil in the left eye. Apablaza`s was brain dead several hours until it knew its ultimate death.

The incident occurred at the school Rafael Valentín Valdivieso in the district of Recoleta. The child of nine years old, after being pushed by another child on a model, which had built the night before with his father, was buried the pencil in his eye that eventually take his life.

According to the father, Pedro Apablaza, the death of his son was not an accident and it was couse by bullying from part of the child that pushed him over the model and kill him.
 
According to the school, the events had happened in the context of games.We have to do something about this our school has to create a injurie prevention program for prevent this accidents.

My Survey

We made a survey about the inury prevention at schools so that we know if people are interested in this theme or if they would like to improve the injury prevention programs.
We made also, a question to know how many times people get injured, so that we know if the persons get injured often, and with this we can know how improtant is this theme

Posters Correction

 

Julian gatta and I absolutely think that the second one is the best one! if full of information, is colorful and had great pic! but the images are not good pasted, just a detail doesn't  matter.

the first one is horrible, had no information, is not attractive, and had no name on it, just said sleep pyramid and its all.

I think that this activity was funny and is a good manner to  help to our teachers to correct tests, because they have a lot of work.
