Rationale

For my written task I have decided to write a media manipulation article. I will focus on how media affects people.

Media manipulation is a very serious and global issue all over the world. In Occident almost every person has a T.V or read magazines and newspaper, so almost everyone is exposed to the media. The media is everywhere on  buses, taxis, streets, walls, even in the sky. People should know and learn more about what media is and what it informs them.

On my article I will talk about this topic and I will state how to recognize true news from false ones also how to inform ourselves about this.

I chose to write an article because it seems to me that its the best way to say all the things I want and explain what I think about them.By doing this I hope to make a good article and explain all I want about media manipulation.

Image analisis

Im going to analize 7 panels from the kite runner graphic novel.

In the first one there is a kid staring at two old men they cannot see him beacouse he is behind the wall,they are on a house sitting in a couch looking concerned. One of them is fatter and bearded while the other has a mustache and is skinny. By there looks the people seem to be black hair and dark skin so they can be arab or latin. By their clothes i can see it is set in a contemporary age.

In the second panel the bearded man look at the kid and ask him what is he doing here the kids name is amir an afghan name so there problably afghan the kid looks angry and we can see the house the are at and it seems to be a house from wealthy people. The men in smoking a pipe trying to stay calmed.

In the third panel the kid amir is running away crying problably beacouse of what they said . The skinny men stands up and tells amir to wait while the bearded one stood still.

In the fourth one amir is getting out of the house and we see its happenig at day time a boy and an old men stare at him, they both are with a broom in their hands , probably are workers of the house, their clothes

Chapter: 21 Theme: family

The narrator point of view is very special, in this book Holden is the narrator and in chapter 21 he explains his point of view about his family and his home. He first thinks the lobby boy it's stupid and thinks "you have to say something nobody understands and they will do anything you want them to".

Then he get to his family apartment and goes to his brothers room where phoebe was staying he thinks she very mature and neat for her age and he sees her copybook then he wakes her up she hugs him and Holden thinks " she's very affectionate for a child".

Pheobe tolds him D.B is working on another movie " that goddamm Hollywood" thinks holden , Holden says he hates holllywood but i think he misses his older brother.

In conclusion Holden express that he care about his family through critics. But he really love his family.

Is Global Warming The Most Important Issue?

Since the first men walked on earth there has been trouble concerning their species and planet. Finding food, natural resources and anything the nature had that man could use for improve their life standard. But the problem is that the exploration of natural resources was bad for the earth and the global warming was known. Men did not create it but they have to solve it. But is it the Global Warming  the most important issue now a days?

The United Nations released a report wich states that even before humans, global warming was an issue for the earth, that was not mens fault al do their  influence has affect it and severely. The report also said the some of the damage was irreparable so people cannot do anything but not make more damage but that means no oil electricity and fossil fuels, the world is not ready for that change, countries all over the world have issues that have to be solved now wars, poverty, hunger etc.

Secondly, the world have to be ready and their people in a good life with goods and resources so then we can all come together and save our beloved planet, so when the issues we have to solve are finished and the world peace is reached we can start worrying about global warming.

Ecologist and environmental organisations said that global warming is the most important issue man kind has reached. Scientist Katherine Hayhoe says global warming affects every rainstorm heat wave and natural disaster the world is suffering. But global warming has not killed millions of people like wars and hunger have.Also Mr.Bill Mkibben blames the U.S.A and specially president Obama he points them as a big issue here because they don't help to stop global warming on the contrary they make it worset, it is the most important country in the world so they have to start a world campaign or something so we solve this now but instead of blaming someone.

So finally in my opinion we have to solve our issues first and then start an extreme project involving every country so we solve Global warming.
