Hadrians Wall

Hadrian was an roman emperor that constructed a wall becouse he want to protect the fronteirs of the roman empire. The wall was 15 feet high and whith parapets above so it was 30 feet high but now it has reduce to its foundation. It had miles castles that control a mile of the wall, in each superfort there were 2 watch towers. It took 5 years construct the wall.

Dear Auntie Alice:

Me and my friends from SPLAT club are going to London, because our friend Dinah is going to participate at an important computer competition and we all think we should go with her so we can do some SPLAT things. We wonder if we could stay with you in London. My friend Dinah is very exited but I think she is a little nervous so forgive her is she gets mad or yells. You may wonder what is my club SPLAT its a club with my friends that we create for protect the school from the demon headmaster and we also do fun things like going to the pool, the computer lab but not everybody like it, we also do games and organize boring SPLAT activities and boring meetings but we have to do it because we organize the activities that we like so that’s all I hope we can go and stay with you.

For my next presentation I have to be more responsible and prepare and organize my work and time I will try to memorize the presentation and try not to read I will complete my work and perform a formal and professional work.  I will do all the requisites that the work needs at time, and at last I will always present a very good work that will give me a good calcification.

A. Hectic: full of activity or very busy.

F. Hauling up: to pull something heavy slowly and with difficulty

G. Pottery shards: the activity or skill of making clay objects by hand

H. Beads: a small, coloured, often round piece of plastic, wood, glass, etc. with a hole through it. It is usually put on a string with a lot of others to make jewellery.

I. Lodging: a temporary place to stay.

J. Wares: small products for selling, in a market or on the street but not usually in a shop.
